Reg FD DisclosureOn August 28, 2026, in the proceeding before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PaPUC) regarding the proposed merger of Essential Utilities, Inc. with and into a wholly owned subsidiary of American Water Works Company, Inc., the Administrative Law Judges issued an interim order stating, among other things, that American Water, Essential Utilities, and certain of their affiliates had reached a non-unanimous settlement in the proceeding.
