(the Company ) regarding media reports that the Company is considering building a semiconductor facility in Japan. The Company hereby clarifies that, while it is reviewing various measures, including establishing additional production bases, to strengthen the competitiveness of its memory business, no matters have been determined as of the date hereof. The Company will make a further disclosure either when specific details are confirmed or within one month of the date of this report.
